Dr. Tom Zyvoloski, DDS, IBDM, AIAOMT
I’m a general, full-service and cosmetic dentist enthused about living a healthy lifestyle. For over 20 years, I’ve cared for thousands of patients and perform a full range of dental procedures, from simple fillings to complex dental reconstruction. In addition to my dentistry training and various skills, I’m also an artist and sculptor — creating natural-looking teeth for a one-of-a-kind smile that enhances your best qualities.
Because of my strong commitment to natural health, I studied and trained in classical Naturopathy. In July 2016, I obtained a Naturopathic Medical Doctor Board Certification, along with a degree in Integrative Biologic Dental Medicine (IBDM). Both degrees are from the American College Of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry.
The best part about having a range of experience is that I can guide you through important dental health and cosmetic choices to fit your specific needs. Most dentists specialize in one area or the other.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School, and I’m a member of the American Dental Association and the Colorado Dental Association. I relocated from Minnesota to Colorado to take advantage of the outdoorsy lifestyle, great weather, and health-oriented culture. Additionally, I an Accredited Member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), only a few dentists in Colorado hold this honor.

What Is A Dental Implant?
The implant body or post is the portion of the implant that is inserted into the jawbone. The implant body integrates with the jawbone and becomes the anchor for the new tooth.
The implant abutment is the portion of the dental implant inside the crown. Sometimes the abutment is created with the implant body as one piece. Other times, it is separate and attached to the implant with a screw. The abutment shapes the gum tissue and supports the crown.
The dental implant crown is the portion of the dental implant you see, but if done correctly, no one can tell it is not a natural tooth. The crown is bonded or cemented to the implant abutment and is commonly made of a ceramic or zirconia material because of its naturally white color and strength.
